1. Shopper & Customer

One Stop selects Snappy Shopper as home delivery partner, introducing services to 250 stores initially

After a trial period across One Stop stores last year, the convenience retailer has officially selected Snappy Shopper as one of its home delivery partners.

With over 1,000 convenience stores nationwide, One Stop will initially introduce Snappy Shopper’s quick commerce services to 250 of these locations, starting from June.

Mike Callachan, CEO at Snappy Shopper, comments: “Our partnership with One Stop, marks our first national retail roll-out, and is a great milestone for us as a business.”

“One Stop choosing us shows the recognition of Snappy Shopper both in the marketplace and for our white label business. We see One Stop as a retail partner that shares our values – its business model focuses on serving customers and their communities, providing convenience and accessibility.”

Tim Josephs, Head of Online at One Stop, says: “Providing an easy shopping experience for our customers is extremely important to us, so we’re thrilled to be partnering with Snappy Shopper.”

“Customers will be able to have great quality products, at great prices on their doorstep within minutes. We look forward to offering the Snappy Shopper service to both our existing loyal customers and new customers across the country,”

Co-op

Co-op and Snappy Shopper recently embarked upon a local store-to-door trial in Northern Ireland to further expand access to the convenience retailer’s rapid online home delivery of groceries.

This launched from Co-op’s Shankill Road, Belfast, and has now been extended to its store in Kings Road, Gilnahirk.

George Hayworth, Head of Online Development, Co-op, said: “Working with Snappy Shopper fits with our quick and convenient approach to e-commerce – a model which sees products picked fresh in the local store, so the high street store benefits from increased online demand.”

“We continually look for new ways to expand and grow our online offer, and are pleased to launch a trial with Snappy Shopper to provide increased customer choice and access to our products – serving our member-owners and customers close to our stores with what they want and need, when and where they need it.”

Deliveries during the trial are priced at 99p, with orders sent to homes and workplaces within approximately a 2.5 mile radius of the stores in as little as under 60 minutes.

Co-op has its own online shop and, in addition to Snappy Shopper, partners with Amazon; Deliveroo; Just Eat, Uber Eats and also offers autonomous robot deliveries in partnership with Starship Technologies.
