Gopuff Launches White-Label Instant Delivery Platform for CPG Brands

Gopuff has launched Powered by Gopuff, a platform designed to enable brands to offer delivery services from their owned and operated online storefronts by leveraging Gopuff’s logistics network, instant fulfillment infrastructure and technology.

In addition to fulfillment services, CPG brands using Powered by Gopuff will be able to leverage online ads and marketing to drive sales from their sites, delivering more control over the customer experience and providing access to valuable first-party data.

The first solution to be launched under the “Powered by Gopuff” umbrella is Storefronts, a customizable Shopify theme integrated with Gopuff’s APIs that will help CPGs launch their own DTC sites in days rather than weeks or months, according to the company. Orders placed on a Storefront are automatically routed to the nearest Gopuff microfulfillment center, where they are picked, packed and delivered to customers in as fast as 15 minutes.

Over the past six months, Gopuff has been testing Storefronts with more than 20 CPG brands, including Ben & Jerry’s, Unilever, Mondelēz International, Nestlé and the J.M. Smucker Company. Now Storefronts are available to all brands currently on the Gopuff platform.

“Nobody wants the responsibility of getting a pint of Ben & Jerry’s from a nearby store to their couch. Not even us. That last mile delivery is complicated!” said Jay Tandan, Global Head of Digital Marketing at Ben & Jerry’s in a statement. “Storefronts Powered by Gopuff solves that struggle for us and for Ben & Jerry’s fans across the country. Their microfulfillment centers provide a quick and easy way to get Ben & Jerry’s euphoria right to your door in a flash.”

Gopuff also plans to expand its Powered by portfolio in Q2 with Fulfillment Powered by Gopuff, a standalone warehousing and logistics service to allow CPG brands to integrate and promote instant delivery on their existing DTC sites. At launch, this service will only be available to Shopify merchants with products that are currently available on the Gopuff consumer platform.
