Albertsons yesterday released its third quarter results, saying that sales and revenue were up 2.9 percent to $18.6 billion, from $18.2 billion during the same period a year ago.
Net income for the quarter was $361.4 million, compared to $375.5 million during the same period a year ago.
Albertsons said that same-store sales were up 2.9 percent, with digital sales up 21 percent. Members of Albertsons’ loyalty program grew 17% to 38.5 million.
