Friday Eye-Opener:  Mercado Gonzales

A couple of weeks ago, we reported that Northgate González Market has opened its new Mercado González in Costa Mesa, California, described as a 70,000 square foot “gastronomic adventure that takes foodies on a journey through the heart and soul of Mexican cuisine. With its unique concept and curated food offerings, design, and art, Mercado brings the rich flavors, vibrant colors, and joyful spirit of Mexico to a customer’s everyday shopping experience.”

One MNB reader sent me an email saying, “I visited this store on Saturday evening. It’s one of the most amazing retail stores I have ever seen. Incredible produce, fresh foods, service and atmosphere.”
