The Hollywood Reporter writes that Stanley Tucci will be returning to Italy with a new food and travel focused TV series.
His first series, “Stanley Tucci: Searching For Italy,” was a big hit on CNN but was canceled when the network, under financial pressures, decided to eliminate many of the shows produced by outside entities from its schedule.
The new series, “Tucci – The Heart of Italy,” will be seen on the Disney-owned Nat Geo platform.
The press release says that as in the old series, the new one will follow Tucci as “he unlocks the distinct flavors that define each region and discovers the rich versatility of Italy through those he meets along the journey.”
Production is slated to begin in early 2024.
