Schnucks announced that it is piloting a new program, Fresh Produce Now, powered by a marketing app, Foodshed.io, so that customers can get real-time digital updates on when fresh, seasonal produce arrives at their stores.
In addition to telling folks about when the produce has arrived in-store, the updates which will come via the Schnucks mobile app, will include harvesting information, such as timing and location.

Brilliant idea. Who would’ve thought that actually informing shoppers when products that they want arrive in stores would be seen as a radical advancement.
