Content Guy’s Note:  Yes, I know I’m supposed to be on vacation.  But while I’m off, I figured I’d file a daily series of FaceTime videos about a variety of off-the-beaten-path subjects that offer relevant business lessons.  I don’t want you to forget me, and I don’t want you to think I’ve forgotten you.

It is Friday, when I’d normally do an OffBeat segment that would focus on movies, books, TV shows, music, wine and assorted other weekend-friendly topics.  Today, I want to bring a little OffBeat to FaceTime and tell you about a book I recently read by Ann Patchett that quickly became one of my favorite books ever.  And, it has business lessons (for both your business and mine).
