– Amazon hit with US antitrust lawsuit for the first time. This is a pattern happening across the tech giants. This lawsuit focuses on their third-party marketplace. Amazon’s stock still went up while the S&P is down.
– Also, why Amazon isn’t a food business threat. “For the year ended March 31, Amazon.com and Whole Foods had 1.4% and 1.2% of the grocery spending in the U.S… Industry stalwarts Walmart and Kroger had total market shares of 22% and 12%.”
– Building a CX business case for your CFO. “Your brand’s customer experience will ultimately be a key long-term strategic differentiator and advantage… But the only way… [it] can be considered a ‘must-have’ capability is if.. [it] enables the business’s strategic objectives.”
