Pepcid launches new heartburn medication

NEW YORK — Pepcid has released Pepcid Icy Cool Mint, a new heartburn product that provides fast-acting, long-lasting heartburn relief with an instant cooling sensation. One tablet can prevent and relieve symptoms all day or night, based on 9-hour daytime acid control studies and 12-hour nighttime acid control studies.

Heartburn affects more than 60 million Americans and while diet changes and home remedies can help, more and more people prefer taking medication over a lifestyle change. The product is available at major retailers including Walmart, Amazon, Walgreens, Target & CVS.
