Nike and Dick’s tie loyalty programs together.
Nike is offering their loyalty program through Dick’s app and stores. Shoppers will get loyalty rewards from both brands in one location. Interesting to see these brand partnerships play out in loyalty, usually a walled garden space. Moves like this could represent a potential evolution in loyalty strategy.

Kroger using robotic sheds to move into markets sans stores.
Kroger is using their Ocado, CFC sheds and retailer partnerships to expand without a (Kroger) store footprint. Two markets are the focus: Florida and the NE. It shouldn’t be surprising this is happening, given their shed locations. For Kroger, the slow pace of shed construction gives competitors in the area plenty of time to react, so curious to see how this will play out for Kroger long term.
