Mayor Adams put NYC business leaders (including representatives from Target and Starbucks) in a room with law enforcement officials on Friday to try to hash out solutions to rising retail crime rates in the city. Although details of the discussions have not been made public, the summit was said to have discussed the application of technology, surveillance and enhanced law enforcement partnerships.
