Alimentation Couche-Tard has a new five-year strategic plan, and with it comes some lofty goals.

The retailer wants to almost double its EBITDA to $10 billion by fiscal year 2028. The EBITDA was $5.8 billion in fiscal year 2023 thanks to net earnings of $3.1 billion.

Behind the aggressive upswing is Alimentation Couche-Tard’s new 10 for the Win campaign, which includes strategic lighthouses of Winning Offer, Winning Fuel, Winning the Customer, and Winning Growth.

The company, headquartered in Laval, Canada, says it is going to double down on cost efficiency to position itself as one of the most cost-effective operators in the industry.

“The entire executive team and I believe that we have put together a compelling and achievable path to reach our ambitious goals,” said Brian Hannasch, president and CEO of Couche-Tard. “We are excited to start executing on 10 for the Win to bring more value to our customers, team members, and shareholders as we strive to become the most trusted brand in convenience and mobility.”
