Amazon to start flagging ‘frequently returned’ products

Ecommerce giant Amazon is adding a warning on certain product pages, alerting shoppers if they are “frequently returned” items.

With the new label, the company is encouraging shoppers to conduct more research before purchasing an item, by checking the details and reviews to avoid unnecessary returns.

The warning reads: “Frequently returned item: Check the product details and customer reviews to learn more about this item.”
