Share of U.S. consumers planning to shop Thanksgiving sales 2021, by gender

According to a survey carried out in October 2021 in the United States, men were slightly more likely to venture to the physical stores on Black Friday. Around 37 percent of male consumers in the U.S. were planning to shop in-store, whilst just under 33 percent of women planned to do the same. On the other hand, female shoppers were slightly more likely to shop online that day and on Cyber Monday.
