Change in Consumer Confidence Index due to COVID-19 in Poland 2020-2021

In April 2020, the Consumer Confidence Index in Poland was at its lowest since January 2020. The rapid escalation of coronavirus (COVID-19) had an impact on the current trends in individual consumption. In November 2021, CCI was lower by 5.5 percentage points compared to the previous month (-23.3). Referring to November 2020, the current value of current consumer confidence indicator is higher by 5.9 percentage points. Current consumer confidence indicator is the average of balances of evaluations changes in the household’s financial condition, changes in general economic situation of the country and currently made major purchases.
