New York, NY: The CPG Guys announce today that due to overwhelming demand for their podcasting service they are rebranding their flagship podcast as “The GPT Guys”.  Using generative #AI technology they ingested from about 111 different Shoptalk presentations on the topic, The GPT Guys will provide listeners and podcast guests with the experience of being interviewed by The GPT Guys – allowing for multiple podcasts per day to be recorded and launched on all major podcast distribution platforms.

“We know our audience wants more #chatgpt -related content, but our bandwidth simply doesn’t permit us to meet the demand” remarked Sri Rajagopalan on the new innovation.  “The GPT Guys will allow us to ensure that we are able to provide all 2,312 of the retail media networks in the US with their own dedicated episode and a chance to reach our nearly 21,000 LinkedIn followers with the promise of closed-loop attribution, next generation incrementality metrics and precision 1:1 marketing”.

This innovation was a labor of love, led by newest GPT Guy Bryan Gildenberg, who noted that the algorithm often struggled with the industry’s arcane jargon.  “It took our team of engineers some time to teach Chat GPT that clean room was a noun, not a command to an 8 year old” he remarked, and that trying to tell the difference between the 1400 acronyms that all start with “C” that describe marketing effectiveness “is the reason you can’t log into ChatGPT anymore – the server is still overwhelmed”.

Joining Sri and Bryan as the new co-host of the podcast will be Chat, an AI-derived bot.

“The really hard part was getting it to master the engaging and witty banter that populates every episode beyond the script” observed Gildenberg.  “For instance for the first week or so, Sri and I arguing about the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees kept coming back as someone trying to shoplift hosiery from an H&M”.  Sri is most excited about the new series’ ability to be promoted on LinkedIn, opining that “we are worried that our audience doesn’t hear from us enough on that platform…we are glad to ensure that very few minutes of our follower’s waking day will go by without a GPT Guys new content notification”.

Former co-host Peter V.S. Bond will be leaving to pursue other analog podcast opportunities, citing that he was “always just an industry hack and never really got this whole technology thing.”
