In 2016, Roxanne joined the Walgreens supply chain organization, leading distribution, transportation, inventory management and master data followed by being GVP, asset protection and comprehensive loss in 2020.

“After almost 30 years I’d like to share with my network that I am leaving Walgreens,” she wrote.

“It has been a tremendous journey full of memories of working with the greatest. So many that I couldn’t begin to share all the names and thank you’s in one post. I hope you know who you are. I think of all those that taught me to much, those that inspired me to be my best and those that provided me courage during life’s many challenges. Ultimately, 30 years of memories have made me who I am today. Hopefully a fearless leader who will always put people first.

Thank you to all the pharmacists at Walgreens. I started my career as one of you and I am excited to continue to see the evolution of the role. You were truly the pandemic heroes. Thank you.

Many years in store operations working on the front lines taught me so much about our customers and what it’s like to ‘be in the trenches’. Amazing work by amazing people. Thank you.

Moving to supply chain has been a privilege that I will always be grateful for. WOW. Just to have a small part in helping to educate the world on the complexity in this space. The commitment and sacrifices made, not just during the pandemic, but everyday by so many talented people is incredible. Moving mountains! Being the CSCO of this wonderful team has been amazing. Thank you.

I have to mention my short time getting to work with and support our asset protection team. There is no other group waking up everyday with a mission of keeping our team members, our customers and even our assets safe from the many things that can go wrong at any moment. Thank you.

Lastly, one final shout out to all the supporting functions I have interacted with, partnered with and succeeded with. You are all awesome.

More to come on what’s next with me. Excited to explore new opportunities for the future. Until then I’ll keep cheering for you all,” she concluded.
