Meijer is planning a new store format in Michigan. The new 90,000 square foot store, which is half the size of the normal footprint, will offer both food and general merchandise. And not wanting to be left out of a heavy grocery news day, Albertson’s rolls out their loyalty program across its banners.
And finally, Walmart and Amazon look to Rx as the next potential growth vehicle. Albeit they are doing it differently, we will be watching this one closely.
