While in Northern California last weekend, I drove up from San Francisco to Sacramento, where I saw the Athletics (formerly of Oakland) play the Reds (still of Cincinnati) at Sutter Health Field, the A’s temporary home before they move into a new home in Las Vegas. (MNB readers won’t be surprised by this – I have actually been to every Major League Baseball stadium. I’ve been doing it so ,long, i’ve actually been to more than 50.) The A’s current home is a minor league ballpark, sure, but also kind of a lovely place to watch a game. And it got me thinking about brand equity and core values.
