There’s a lot of evidence out there that employees are less engaged in their jobs than ever, and that mutual loyalty between management and labor just doesn’t exist to any significant extent. Which is leading many companies, according to a recent piece in Business Insider down a path in which corporate America could “descend into a dysfunctional hellhole.” Or not – if companies and business leaders decide to change the model in a way that means everybody goes above and beyond. For the business. And for each other.
