Just across the street from the new Wegmans about three miles from where I live, Target has opened a 117,000 square foot store that I went to check out. What I found was a depressing, dispiriting, mediocre retailing experience that speaks volumes about Target’s current problems. Here’s my question: How is it possible for a store open just a few days to suffer from “nobody gives a damn disease?”
