Convenience stores face a mixed picture on how much business rates they will pay after the government’s latest revaluation, announced at the same time as the chancellor’s mini-budget last week. Analysts say convenience stores will see their rateable values increase by more than 10%, but smaller independent shop owners will be protected from the increases …
